Encore que, si vous voulez mon opinion, nous n'ayons guère à juger de la germanophilie d'un pays étranger (nous avons bien admis celle de Franco). La Garde a échoué, et elle a même dévié, et ses meilleurs éléments sont aujourd'hui autour du Roi. Tant mieux, mais ce qui a été a été.\u003cbr\u003eConcerning Rex, the Belgian magazine founded by Léon Degrelle: \"Pour Rex, c'est un peu différent. Nous avons cru au succès de Rex (quoique pour ma part, dans ce que moi j'ai écrit, j'ai toujours laissé la place possible à l'échec), parce que Rex a été emporté en 36 dans un\u003cbr\u003emouvement d'une ampleur extraordinaire. Ce qui trompe les gens, c'est qu'au moment du succès de Rex, les antifascistes disaient : c'est un échec. Nous, nous disions : c'est un succès, car c'en était un. Quand cela n'a pas tenu, nous l'avons dit. Les défauts de Rex, qui sont essentiellement l'esprit brouillon, nous ne les avons pas cachés. Voilà tout. J'ajoute que pour ma part, je trouve même que J.S.P a enterré Rex avec trop peu de cérémonies. C'est que j'ai fort ancré le sentiment de la fidélité.\u003cbr\u003eVoulez-vous que je vous fasse un aveu ? Oui, il y a un point sur lequel J.S.P. n'a pas dit la vérité, moitié par ignorance, moitié par timidité :\u003cbr\u003ec'est la Pologne [...]. Vous nous voyez disant que la Pologne est une arlequinade sans défense, et gouvernée par des politiciens (qui n'ont pas à l'heure qu'il est, reconnu le gouvernement d'Angers !!) ? [Le gouvernement polonais en exil, officiellement nommé gouvernement de la République de Pologne en exil, est le nom donné aux instances politiques légales polonaises qui, avec le président de la République de Pologne, après la campagne de 1939, se sont établies d'abord à Angers, en France, puis à Londres après la défaite de la France en juin 1940 pour continuer, au nom du peuple polonais, la lutte contre l'agresseur]. Après la Tchécoslovaquie ? Nous ne pouvions pas. C'est pour\u003cbr\u003ele coup qu'on nous aurait accusé d'être vendus à l'Allemagne. Et en outre j'ajoute que nous n'étions pas assez bien informés, (mais nous nous en doutions). Je ne crois pas qu'on puisse nous reprocher cet illusionnisme patriotique.
