In-8 (218 x 142 mm), 2 volumes: T1 - [2] ff, 417 pp, [2] ff; T2 - [2] ff, 402 pp, [2] ff. Full tawny flacé calf, fillet and roulette composed of gilt leaves and fleurons framing the boards, smooth spine, brown title-piece and tomaison, caissons decorated in a ‘à la grotesque’ style, gilt fillet on the edges, gilt edges (Bozérian le Jeune).

An unusual provincial edition, printed in the typeface of the Vafflard printing house.
This edition was printed in small numbers on wove paper.
Remarkable from a typographical point of view, with wide margins, it appeared unillustrated. It can, however, be found with additional plates.

Pages 31 to 34 with a marginal loss of paper at the bottom of the page, otherwise a very good copy with a fresh interior.
