Action française

Action française refers both to a political movement and a publishing venture: pamphlets, periodicals, correspondence and manuscripts by its leading pens sit side by side, bearing the mark of the debates that stirred the nationalist right of the twentieth century. The bibliophilic interest often lies in the provenance, the inscription, or the rarity of print runs that remained confidential, direct witnesses to a body of thought that left a lasting imprint on French history.
