Cinema

In the specialist book trade, cinema occupies a double territory: that of the texts which have fed the screen — the novels, plays and narratives brought to the image — and that of the archives proper to the seventh art, filmmakers' manuscripts, correspondence, shooting notes. The seventh art draws on the great texts of literature, on novels that have marked the centuries — but the reverse is equally true.
