British literature

British literature appears on the antiquarian market in various guises: English first editions, early French translations, authors' correspondence, or contemporary bindings from across the Channel. Collectors here pay close attention to the printing, the provenance and the condition, which together account for the value of this literary heritage, long established at the heart of Europe's great libraries.
