Félibrige

The Félibrige movement is encountered chiefly through the first editions of its poets and the correspondence exchanged among members of the movement, in which the defence of the Occitan language and the revival of Provençal letters are discussed. Its bibliophilic interest often lies in the inscription, the provenance, or the rarity of a regional printing that remained outside the major Parisian circuits.
