In-8 (185 x 124 mm): [1] f., 186 pp., [2] ff. Covers and spine preserved. Burgundy half-shagreen with corners, blind-stamped separation, ribbed spine, title and author in gilt, gilt top edge.

Original edition, Presentation copy.
A fine copy in a standard edition, enriched with a superb dedication from the author to Clovis Piérard (1896-1974), a Belgian politician who was a senator between 1946 and 1947 as well as a journalist and director of La Province de Mons.

Spine slightly sunned and pages moderately yellowed but free of foxing.
