BLONDIN (Antoine). Certificats d’études.
Paris: La Table Ronde, 1977.

8vo (203 × 143 mm). (1) f., 244 pp., (1) f. Original printed wrappers with dust-jacket.

Rare first edition, with a presentation inscription to Monsieur Lefroid.
A copy from the regular issue, following the 15 copies on Hollande and 30 on vélin that constitute the formal tirage de tête. Certificats d’études showcases Blondin’s characteristic blend of wit, nostalgia and finely observed human comedy, confirming his status as one of the great stylists of post-war French prose.

A very handsome copy, clean and well preserved.
