Two beautiful long letters of 4 pages each in 1861 for the Duchess, on the subject of the Count de Chambord's trip to the Orient, followed by three letters on the death of the father of the Duke of Clermont-Tonnerre, on the death of the wife of Count Villaret de Joyeuse and on a note evoking the memories of the father of Count Villaret de Joyeuse at the Ministry of the Navy.
Count Alexis Villaret de Joyeuse is the son of the famous Louis Thomas Villaret de Joyeuse (1748-1812), a French vice-admiral in the 18th and 19th centuries.
