MALAPARTE (Curzio). Il Sole è Cieco.
Florence: Vallecchi, 1947.

Octavo (196 × 133 mm). 184 pp., (1) f. Original wrappers and spine preserved.
Modern half lemon morocco, smooth spine, author stamped in red, title in black.

Extremely rare first edition in Italian, with a fine signed presentation inscription by the author in French.

An autobiographical narrative of the Alpine campaign, first published in serial form in Temps in January and February 1941, before appearing in book form in this scarce Vallecchi edition of 1947.

A very fine copy.
