Red half-shagreen with corners, spine with raised bands, compartments decorated with a double gilt fillet border, gilt author and title, gilt monogram at foot of spine, top edge gilt (M. Laurent).
Illustrated edition.
One of 500 copies on Rives vellum, with colour compositions by Daniel-Girard.
Minor rubbing and slight traces of wax polish on the joints.
