In-8 (182 x 131 mm): [1] f., 174 pp., [1] f. Cover and spine preserved. Burgundy half-shagreen with corners, blind-stamped separation, ribbed spine, title and author in gilt, gilt top edge.

 

Presentation copy.

A fine copy, enriched with a dedication dated March 1946 from the author to Clovis Piérard (1896-1974), a Belgian politician who was a senator between 1946 and 1947 as well as a journalist and director of La Province de Mons.

Spine faded, pages yellowed but free of foxing.
