First edition, press service. Association copy to Marcel Damboise (1903-1992), a close friend of Albert Camus whom he met in Algiers when he was staying at the Villa Abd-el-Tif as a guest artist. The two shared a love of ancient Greece, and Damboise made a bust and medallion of Camus.
