An exceptional copy, adorned with a signed full-face drawing by Cocteau and with numerous dedications by the actors of Cocteau's play: Jean Marais (1913–1998), Edwige Feuillère (1907–1998), Jacques Varennes (1894–1958), Georges Aminel (1922–2007), Silvia Monfort (1923–1991) and Georges Marny.
Stains and wax marks on the covers, pages somewhat browned.
From the library of Suzanne Agassiz (1902–1999), who was the mistress of the Swiss composer Arthur Honegger (1892–1955).
