Marbled half-basane with corners, gilt fillet separation, smooth spine with quadruple gilt fillet, green parts slightly faded, author, title and tomation stamped in gold, gilt head.

Superb third complete edition of all 4 titles, once owned by the French writer Gabriel Faure (1877-1962).
Our copy is enriched by a superb dedication from the author on the false title dated April 1910 to Gabriel Faure, author of the book Au pays de Gabriel d'Annunzio. It is also accompanied by a postcard redrawn in Pescara (Italy) in March 1940 and signed by Michele Cascella (1892-1989), an Italian painter and illustrator, Marietta Camerlongo, the d'Annunzio family maid, and Valentine Camella Riordando.
