Red half-maroquin with corners, separated by gilt fillet, spine with false nerves, author, title and date stamped in gold, gilt head (Levitsky).
Rare and uncommon first edition on tinted vellum.
The copy is accompanied by two original lithographs by Henry de Groux and is signed in red pencil by the author on the justification page.
Slight rubbing to headpieces, nerves and corners, pages slightly but evenly yellowed; otherwise a fine copy.
