Full lavallière morocco, raised bands, author and title in gilt, double gilt fillet to board edges, top edge gilt, gilt geometric fillets to the turn-ins (H. Blanchetière).

First edition, on Holland paper, with an autograph letter.
One of 130 copies on Holland paper, with her letter addressed to Édouard Dolléans (1877–1954) thanking him for his review of the book and announcing at the same time the birth of her daughter Colette Renée de Jouvenel des Ursins (1913–1981).

A superb copy.
