In-8 (210 x 146 mm): [3] ff, 10 pp, [3] ff. Blue cloth bradel boards, glossy paper pasted on the boards, smooth spine, black pastedown.

Autograph manuscript of 5 pages of Marie Laurencin's article in the Excelsior newspaper of 21 January 1934 on the play Les Valses de Vienne. It is preceded by an A.L.S. requesting the correction of errors in the said manuscript and is followed by the 3-page handwritten draft of the article.

The play was directed by Maurice Lehmann (1895-1974), who presented it at the Théâtre de la Porte Saint-Martin at 8.30pm on Sunday 24 December 1933. He asked Marie Laurencin to take care of the costumes and sets for the play, and the Excelsior newspaper asked her to write an article about it, of which we find here the handwritten text, the draft and the letter asking for corrections.
