QUENEAU, Raymond. Morale élémentaire.
Paris, Nrf, 1975.
In-8 (206 x 142 mm), 146 pp., (3) ff. Paperback.
First edition in press service.
A precious Association copy from Queneau to Robert Massin (1925-2020), the legendary art director who reinvented Gallimard's visual identity between 1958 and 1979, taking over from Malraux. He invented the cover for the ‘Folio’ collection and, during his youth, tracked down Louis-Ferdinand Céline as far as Denmark to obtain interviews for Combat (of which he was a journalist).
Small light stains on the front cover, otherwise a very good copy.
