First edition, one of the few copies reserved for the author.
Super Association copy to Émile Henriot (1889-1961) and to Aricie Brun, the protagonist of the book of the same name, which won Henriot the Grand Prix du roman de l'Académie française in 1924. This book is an invaluable record of Henriot's life, announcing three years before its publication the preparation of the work that made him a literary icon.
