Full brown morocco, spine gilt in compartments, gilt author and title, blind fillet on turn-ins, gilt edges, elaborate inlaid morocco doublures with a dark green ivy design and red berries, matching slipcase. Binding by Marius Michel.
Illustrated edition. One of only 20 copies printed on ancien Japon or large vellum and reimposed to quarto format, this copy number 10, specially printed for James H. Hyde (1876–1959).
With an original signed watercolour by Auguste Leroux and one of the 10 suites on China paper, bringing the total to 21 signed compositions.
Light rubbing to the spine, slightly toned.
